Senior Auto Maintenance Technician

Location:

Specified Cox Automotive site – no remote work available. Travel requirements as outlined by the position.

Compensation:
Hourly base pay $26.73 to $40.10 per hour, with potential for commission and incentive programs.

• Perform heavy‑duty auto maintenance and repair tasks at level 1 and 2 proficiency.
• Work independently or as part of a technician team.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Replace clutches and transmissions.
• Identify required parts and partner with parts & procurement teams to procure supplies and materials.
• Inform team lead or management of difficult issues, patterns and trends.
• Up‑fit new vehicles with necessary equipment.
• Perform OEM recalls when required.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current ASE certification when required; ASE certifications A1‑9 and L1 in emission states acceptable.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum 5+ years automotive service and repair experience.
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
• Successful clearance of pre‑employment drug testing (excluding marijuana for this position).
