Mid Level Automotive Technician - Sarasota, FL

About the Role

Mid-Level Automotive Technician at Goodyear Auto Service Centers. Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles while ensuring exceptional customer service.

• Perform line technician services including routine inspections, maintenance, and system diagnostics.
• Conduct brake repairs, fluid flushes, tire installation, and wheel alignments.
• Document all work performed on repair orders and report any safety issues to management.
• Provide clear communication and feedback to guests regarding vehicle care and service status.
• Mentor junior automotive technicians and promote teamwork to deliver thorough and accurate guest care.
• Maintain strict adherence to company policies on vehicle care and operation.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks, including light and heavy lifting (consumer tires and wheels), standing, bending, and squatting.
• Work shifts that may include weekends, holidays, and across all operating hours, depending on location.

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience, including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and minimum age of 18 years.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Commitment to learning new automotive technologies and following established safety policies.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• ASE Certification.
• Experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests.
• Electrical, air conditioning, and primary/advanced fuel ignition experience.
