Risk Analyst

Pay Rate : $40.00/hr. to $43.00/hr. on W2

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily with the front office to create and amend confirmations for complex transactions
• Ensure all trades are accurately recorded in risk systems in compliance with legal and regulatory standards
• Engage directly with external counter parties to confirm transactions and resolve any disputes
• Conduct in-depth legal reviews of documents including ISDAs, NAESBs, EEIs, CSAs, and trade confirmations
• Support risk mitigation through thorough confirmation processes and legal compliance
• Enhance reporting infrastructure and data visualization tools to inform risk-related decisions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with trading, legal, accounting, risk, and origination teams to assess deal risks
• Manage counter party onboarding, including required documentation and integration processes

Qualifications

• 5+ years of confirmations experience in a trading firm (preferably in commodities)
• Strong background in derivative and legal contracts
• Expertise in master agreements: ISDAs, NAESBs, EEIs, and CSAs
• Deep understanding of the trade lifecycle (physical and derivatives trading)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in Excel, SQL, Power BI;
  Python and Endure (or other ETRM) are a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in business or legal field preferred
• Passion for risk management and a disciplined approach to compliance
• Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset
