Procurement Analyst
With all the information available today, it takes a skilled procurement analyst to know how to track, manage, and interpret data to ensure compliance and efficiency in acquisition processes. Here you will apply your specialized knowledge of DoD acquisition policies and attention to detail to manage procurement cycles, track expenditures, and ensure contract compliance, supporting our warfighters and protecting national security.
Key Responsibilities- Track expenditures and manage procurement cycles.
- Ensure contract compliance with DoD acquisition policies.
- Handle purchase orders and track procurement performance metrics.
- Utilize acquisition software, federal procurement databases, and financial tracking tools.
- Perform cost estimation, contract analysis, and procurement audits.
- Analyze cost data, forecast expenditures, and optimize procurement workflows.
- Validate information and apply DoD processes for contract compliance and budget alignment.
- Provide time‑critical recommendations under pressure.
- Experience tracking expenditures and managing procurement cycles.
- Experience ensuring contract compliance with DoD acquisition policies.
- Experience managing purchase orders and tracking procurement performance metrics.
- Experience using acquisition software, federal procurement databases, and financial tracking tools.
- Experience performing cost estimation, contract analysis, and procurement audits.
- Knowledge of DFARS and FAR procurement processes.
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to perform data analysis and cost forecasting, and optimize procurement workflows.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure budget alignment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Finance or Business Administration field, or 4+ years of experience in procurement analysis in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with advanced procurement audits and compliance reporting.
- Experience implementing process improvements for procurement efficiency.
- Knowledge of emerging acquisition technologies and automation tools.
- Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) Certification.
- DoD Financial Management Certification.
Salary range: $61,900.00 to $ annually. Additional benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement plans, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care. Full‑time and part‑time employees who work at least 20 hours a week regularly are eligible for Booz Allen’s benefits program. The salary can vary based on location and individual qualifications.
