About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced professional looking to take that next step in advancing their career path by accepting the engaging and fulfilling role as a Proposal & Business Development Coordinator in our Tallahassee office location. This position collaborates closely with firm leadership including shareholders, business development professionals, marketing, and subject matter experts to create persuasive proposals that effectively communicate the firm's qualifications, experience, and value proposition.
This role plays a critical role in supporting the firm's growth strategy by helping secure new business opportunities while ensuring all submissions are accurate, compliant, professionally presented, and delivered on time.
- Has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, or related field
- Has at least 3 years of proposal writing, technical writing, grant writing, marketing communications, or business development experience
- Experience developing responses to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, or other competitive documents is preferred
- Experience working within the professional services (consulting, public accounting, government contracting, legal services, etc.) is preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding grammar, editing, proofreading, and storytelling abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Creative thinker with the ability to present technical information in an engaging manner
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, CRM systems, or proposal management software is a plus
- Lead the planning, writing, editing, and production of proposals, RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and Statement of Qualifications (SOQs)
- Analyze solicitation requirements to ensure full compliance with submission guidelines
- Develop proposal outlines, schedules, and content plans to meet deadlines
- Coordinate proposal efforts with shareholders, department leaders, and technical subject matter experts
- Write compelling executive summaries, cover letters, project descriptions, resumes, technical narratives, and firm qualifications
- Tailor proposal content to address each client's unique needs and evaluation criteria
