Key Responsibilities:- Administer and continuously improve site-level HSE programs supporting aftermarket aerospace operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product support, procurement, logistics, engineering, and operations teams.
- Lead or support incident response, investigations, corrective actions, and injury-prevention initiatives.
- Develop, review, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) aligned with aerospace maintenance and logistics activities.
- Support emergency preparedness and response using Incident Command System (ICS) principles.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local, and industry regulations, company HSE policies, and ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 management systems.
- Deliver and/or develop HSE training to technicians, support functions, and operational teams.
- Support environmental and industrial hygiene programs, including hazardous materials and waste management, NFPA adherence, and sampling activities as required.
- Use EHS systems and standard business tools to track metrics, documentation, audits, and corrective actions.
Skills:
- Typically 3–5 years of experience administering EHS programs in aerospace, industrial, manufacturing, or regulated environments.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to learn, adapt, and apply HSE requirements across diverse operational settings.
- Strong transferable skills in program/project management, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in product support, procurement, material logistics, or asset management is an asset and supports success in aftermarket operations.
- Exposure to Industrial Hygiene, NFPA requirements, and Hazardous Materials/Waste Management preferred.
- Experience as an HSE trainer, training developer, or safety program facilitator is a strong asset.
- Budgeting or forecasting experience to support HSE program planning is an asset.
- Proficiency with standard business and EHS software applications.
- Willingness and ability to complete a minimum of 40 hours of HSE training within 6 months of assignment, plus 10 hours annually thereafter.
- Ability to travel up to 20% to support site and operational requirements.
