The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for supporting operational excellence, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to the successful execution of company objectives while collaborating effectively with internal teams, customers, vendors, and field personnel.
Primary Responsibilities- Perform assigned duties and responsibilities in support of departmental and company objectives.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments, customers, subcontractors, and vendors as required.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting related to assigned responsibilities.
- Communicate professionally and effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Assist drivers and branch managers with daily operational activities.
- Ensure quality standards and customer expectations are consistently met.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicable systems or software.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings such as background and motor vehicle record checks.
- English speaking, reading, and writing preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties.
- Maintain professionalism and a positive, respectful demeanor with customers, coworkers, and business partners.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience related to fleet coordinator responsibilities preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Relevant industry certifications or licenses preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties.
- Hand movements, including typing and equipment operation.
- Travel as required to support project and operational needs.
- Work in a typical office environment, sitting at a desk and performing prolonged computer work, with occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Maintain dependable transportation and consistent, reliable attendance to meet customer service and operational needs.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions within established company policies and procedures.
- Ability to work overtime, modified schedules, or occasional weekends as business needs require.
- Communicate in person, by phone, and electronically, including on a tablet, smartphone, and other office technology.
- Perform all work on-site and in person; this is not a remote or hybrid position.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull at least 25 pounds.
