Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support enterprise application development, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business analysis, requirements management, technical documentation, Azure Dev Ops, application testing, process analysis, and legacy application modernization
. The candidate should be comfortable working with multiple stakeholder groups, technical teams, project teams, and business users on large-scale implementation initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise application development, modernization, or digital transformation initiatives.
• 7+ years of experience producing technical documentation, including:
  • Business and system requirements
  • Functional specifications
  • Technical specifications
  • Design documentation
  • Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs)
  • Testing documentation
• 7+ years of experience with Azure Dev Ops or a comparable Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) platform, including:
  • Backlog management
  • Requirements management
  • Sprint planning
  • Work item tracking
  • Release tracking
• 7+ years of application testing experience
  , including testing custom or commercial off-the-shelf applications, reports, large datasets, and dashboards.
• 7+ years of experience conducting:
  • Business process analysis
  • Gap analysis
  • Workflow modeling
  • Current-state/future-state analysis
  • Solution design
• 3+ years of experience developing:
  • User stories
  • Acceptance criteria
  • Process flows
  • Use cases
  • Requirements Traceability Matrices
• At least 1 year of experience with Visual Studio .NET

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and Share Point .
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings, workshops, requirements sessions, and working groups

• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, architects, testers, and project managers.
• Translate business needs into user stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and process flows
  .
• Perform current-state and future-state business process analysis.
• Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage requirements and project work items using Azure Dev Ops or comparable ALM tools
  .
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, release planning, and requirements traceability.
• Develop and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs).
• Support application testing, including functional, integration, regression, data, report, and dashboard testing.
• Review test results and work with technical teams to resolve identified issues.
• Develop and maintain business, functional, technical, and testing documentation.
• Facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Support application modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical teams supporting migration from legacy applications to Azure-hosted solutions
  .
• Ensure requirements and delivered solutions remain aligned throughout the application lifecycle.
• Support multiple concurrent initiatives and effectively manage competing priorities.

• Experience supporting large-scale, high-profile enterprise implementation projects
  .
• Experience working across multiple technologies, business functions, and stakeholder groups.
• Experience managing projects involving stakeholders with diverse and competing priorities.
• Experience supporting public-sector systems
  .
• Experience supporting early education, workforce, or human services systems
  .
• Experience with modernization initiatives involving migration from legacy applications to Azure-hosted environments
  .
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft .NET application development environments.
