Pines of Sarasota is currently seeking accomplished candidates to fill the position of Lead Teacher Assistant inour childcare center.

As a valuable member of our team, the Lead Teacher
Assistant will report directly to the Childcare Director. This role involves meticulously planning and leading activities tailored to meet the care and developmental needs of children. This role also manages the childcare center's USDA food program as required, to meet guidelines for the state of Florida.

• Experience in managing a USDA food program preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent, coupled with one year of formal education or training in early childhood education.
• Minimum of six months of experience in an early childhood setting.
• Completion of a 40-hour state/county childcare training course and 5 hours of literacy training.
• Must possess a character of "good moral character" as defined by the Florida Department of Children and Families.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is essential.
