Pines of Sarasota is currently seeking qualified candidates for the Director of Childcare
.
The Director of Childcare is responsible for directing the operations of the on-site Childcare Center.
Here, children learn in a safe, nurturing, educational environment. Rooms are filled with pictures, music and playthings to stimulate young minds and imaginations. And an added benefit of our child care and learning center is the interaction between the children and Pines’ residents that enriches their lives through storytelling, arts and crafts and entertainment.

Requirements
Required Education, Experience and Skills- Must have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Child Development. A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
- Must have active Florida Childcare and Education Program Director credential with a VPK endorsement, preferably Advanced.
- Must have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the field of pre-school teaching.
- Must have completed a 30-hour state/county childcare training course and 10-hour observing/screening, as well as 5 hours literacy training.
- Must be certified in first aid and CPR.
