Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced General Superintendent to lead and oversee multiple construction projects and field teams across Florida. This role is responsible for managing superintendents, foremen, schedules, manpower planning, safety compliance, and overall jobsite execution.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee multiple active projects and jobsite superintendents/foremen
  • Develop and manage manpower plans, schedules, and daily operations
  • Coordinate with Project Managers on budgets, timelines, and resources
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA/company policies
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and progress meetings
  • Lead production planning and problem-solving in the field
  • Maintain quality control standards
  • Communicate effectively with owners, inspectors, subcontractors, and crews
  • Mentor and develop field leadership
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of construction supervision experience (marine or civil preferred)
  • Experience managing multiple crews and job sites simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of heavy civil, marine, or roadway construction methods
  • Ability to read plans, specs, and schedules
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • OSHA knowledge and safety-focused mindset
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between projects
Preferred
  • Marine construction experience (bridges, seawalls, waterfront work)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Proficiency with construction software/time tracking apps
