Project Engineer Intern

B&H Specialty Construction is seeking motivated and detail-oriented interns to join our team as Project Engineer Interns. This position provides hands‑on experience in high-end residential and commercial construction while serving as a critical link between the field and the office.

Interns will work directly with project managers, superintendents, and company leadership to gain real-world experience in project coordination, scheduling, procurement, and construction management.

• Assist with purchase orders and subcontractor agreements
• Request and review vendor and subcontractor proposals
• Prepare and track Requests for Information (RFIs)
• Support project schedule development and updates
• Perform quantity takeoffs and material estimates
• Coordinate material procurement and deliveries
• Assist with vendor and subcontractor coordination
• Help manage permitting processes and documentation
• Coordinate inspections and track project milestones
• Maintain project records, logs, and documentation
• Communicate with field personnel to ensure seamless coordination between job sites and the office

• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Architecture, or a related field
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn construction management software
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn

This internship is designed to provide valuable industry experience and professional development opportunities. Compensation may be available for candidates who possess prior construction experience, relevant technical skills, or demonstrated industry knowledge.

Successful interns may be considered for future full-time positions with B&H Specialty Construction upon graduation.
