Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to support asphalt paving, repair, and roadway construction projects. This position assists asphalt crews with site preparation, material handling, traffic control, and general labor duties to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

Pay Range

$18.50 per hour

• Assist with asphalt paving, patching, resurfacing, and roadway maintenance projects.
• Prepare job sites by cleaning, grading, and removing debris and damaged materials.
• Shovel, rake, spread, and compact asphalt materials as directed.
• Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and construction materials.
• Set up and remove traffic control devices, including cones, signs, and barricades.
• Operate hand tools and assist with the operation of construction equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout the project.
• Follow all company, OSHA, and jobsite safety procedures.
• Assist crew members with additional labor and maintenance tasks as assigned.

• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing jobsite conditions.

• Outdoor construction and roadway work environment.
• Exposure to asphalt, dust, noise, heavy equipment, and varying weather conditions.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and manual labor.
• May require early morning starts, overtime, weekend work, and occasional travel to project sites.
