The OPS Senior Clerk / Photography and Videography Production Assistant will support the Agency for Health Care Administration’s Communications and External Affairs Office by providing videography, photography, and multimedia production support for Secretary’s events and agency activities.
This role assists with event coordination and coverage, digital content creation, and supports ongoing multimedia needs for outreach, internal communications, events, and digital platforms.
Work is performed independently and with a team.
Duties and Responsibilities- Capture high-quality photography and video in both studio and field environments, producing clean, professional, high resolution products.
- Set up, operate, and break down studio lighting, audio equipment, and cameras to film, direct, and edit short videos for public-facing communication.
- Assist in developing and producing content that aligns with Agency branding and messaging, accessibility requirements, and communication priorities.
- Edit video and photography content for use in publications, social media, websites, presentations, and training materials.
- Collaborate closely with the Communications and Multimedia Teams to identify multimedia needs and support project planning.
- Assist with planning, scripting, and organizing multimedia projects.
- Provide support for press events, special projects, interviews, and on-site productions.
- Shadow and learn from the agency’s senior videographer to maintain continuity in video production processes.
- Organize and maintain equipment, media files, and digital archives in accordance with agency standards.
- Perform related tasks to support Communications-led multimedia initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
This position will be filled at $25.00 hourly and is non-negotiable.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Knowledge of videography, photography, and visual composition.
- Skill in studio and location lighting techniques.
- Skill in operating cameras, audio gear, lighting systems, and other production tools.
- Ability to use editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, Canva, or Photoshop.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with internal and external partners.
- Ability to work independently at events and produce high‑quality content under time constraints.
- Must have at least two (2) years of professional work experience in videography and photography.
- Must have at least two (2) years of professional work experience with studio lighting equipment.
- Must have at least two (2) years of professional work experience editing video and photo content.
- Experience with photography and videography, including editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar programs.
- Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and audio for video.
- Enrollment in or completion of a communications, media, film, graphic design, or related program.
- Experience working in communications, public relations, government, nonprofit, or similar fields.
- Experience with motion graphics or animation.
- Experience producing accessible content (captioning, alt text, etc.).
