The opportunity: Our company is growing, and we are seeking a Videographer to join our growing team! We are seeking someone with a strong eye for visual storytelling, hands-on experience running video shoots, and the people skills to make our clients feel comfortable and confident on camera. This is a salaried position.
What will you be doing: Your primary responsibility will be to run on-location video shoots for our family law firm clients, capturing long-form interview and testimonial-style footage as well as content built for short-form social clips. You'll work directly with attorneys and their teams on camera, directing them through the shoot to get footage that's both professional and engaging. This is a client-facing role, so you'll need to be someone who builds rapport quickly and puts people at ease in front of the camera.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and run video shoots for family law firm clients, managing camera, lighting, and audio setup on location.
- Direct attorneys and subjects on camera to capture natural, engaging performances for both long-form and short-form content.
- Build genuine rapport with clients on shoot day, helping them feel relaxed and confident so their personality comes through on camera.
- Ensure footage is shot with the final edit in mind — framing, coverage, and audio quality that sets editors up for success.
- Maintain and troubleshoot video/audio equipment before, during, and after shoots.
- Collaborate with the editing team to make sure captured footage aligns with each client's brand and messaging.
- Travel to client locations for shoots as scheduled.
What you will need to be successful:
- Demonstrate that you can adapt your shooting style for each of our clients
- 1-2 years of experience running professional video shoots
- Previous experience with on-camera direction/interview-style shoots
- A personable, easygoing presence — you're the face our clients interact with on shoot day, so people skills matter as much as technical skills
- Comfortable operating camera, lighting, and audio equipment independently
- Open to experimenting with new creative techniques to keep content engaging
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to client shoot locations
- Willing to be a team player and collaborate closely with the editing team
