WSET is looking for a Newscast Director.
Responsibilities:Perform any production duties as assigned including:
- Direct and TD any assigned newscasts and special productions using Ross Overdrive
- Maintain studio and control room
- Studio floor manager
- Operation of robotic cameras
- Teleprompter operator
- Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned
- This is a morning shift, Monday through Friday 4am - 1pm. But you must also be willing to work holidays, nights, and weekends as needed for fill in
- Experience directing newscasts
- Knowledge of production standards and equipment
- Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure
- Ability to read and write, college degree preferred
- Must be able to lift & position equipment of up to 40 pounds
The base hourly compensation range for this role is $17.79 to $18.89 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
