About 30A Luxury Vacations You're the First Impression - and We Take That Seriously. Before a guest ever walks through the door of one of our homes, they've already formed an impression of 30A Luxury Vacations. It happened in the way you answered their call. The warmth and confidence of your reply to their inquiry. The way you helped them choose the right home for the trip they've been looking forward to all year.
That's not a transaction. That's this role.
At 30A Luxury Vacations, we're a locally rooted, premium vacation rental company operating along the emerald waters and sugar-white beaches of South Walton. We don't run a call center - we run a hospitality team. Our reservations agents know the homes, know the neighborhoods, and know how to guide a guest from "just looking" to "can't wait to get there."
We're looking for someone who shares that standard.
This Role Is Bigger Than "Taking Reservations"The best reservations agents in this industry aren't order-takers. They're trusted advisors - warm, consultative, and deeply knowledgeable - whose ability to listen carefully, ask the right questions, and confidently match a guest to the right property turns inquiries into bookings and bookings into return guests.
That's who we're looking for.
What You'll OwnAs a Guest Services Agent, you'll be the first voice of 30A Luxury Vacations for every guest who reaches out. You'll report to our Director of Guest Services and work shoulder-to-shoulder with a tight-knit reservations team that takes pride in the experience we deliver.
Day-to-day, that means:
Responding to guest inquiries across phone, email, and text - quickly, accurately, and with the kind of warmth that makes someone feel they've called the right place
Guiding guests consultatively - understanding what they need, matching them to the right property, and confidently communicating the value of what we offer
Processing bookings, modifications, and cancellations across all channels with care and precision
Managing communication and bookings across Airbnb, VRBO, and our direct booking channels
Handling pre-arrival communication - confirmations, directions, recommendations, and special requests - so guests feel taken care of before they ever check in
Maintaining deep knowledge of property availability, rates, amenities, and the unique character of every home in our portfolio
Coordinating closely with property management, housekeeping, and maintenance to keep every arrival seamless
Fielding guest questions during stays and routing anything you can't resolve to the right person, fast
Identifying upsell opportunities - welcome packages, extended stays, special add-ons - because thoughtful recommendations are also good business
Contributing to a team culture where the standard is set by example, not by reminder
A Word About the ScheduleWe're in the hospitality business. That means we work when other people vacation. Weekends are a regular part of this role, and holidays can be a workday too - because that's when our guests are booking, arriving, and experiencing everything we've promised them. We build the team's schedule as fairly as we can and make sure there's protected time to recharge.
If you take pride in being the person who shows up when it counts, you'll feel right at home here.
You'll be a strong fit if you bring:
1+ years in hospitality, reservations, or high-touch customer service - vacation rental or luxury environment strongly preferred
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills - your emails read well and your phone manner puts people at ease
A sales sensibility without the sales pressure - you help people make the right choice for them
Composure under pressure - high-volume days happen, and the team that handles them well is the team people remember
Strong organizational instincts and the kind of attention to detail that prevents small mistakes from becoming big problems
Comfort working in a tech-forward environment. We run a modern, fully integrated stack and expect our team to use it well:
Reservations & Operations:
Escapia, Breezeway
Communications:
Slack, Microsoft Outlook
Project Management:
Asana, Airtable
AI Tools:
Claude AI and ChatGPT - we actively use AI to work smarter, communicate better, and move faster, and we want teammates who embrace that, not avoid it
Hardware:
Apple ecosystem exclusively (iPhone, iPad, Mac Book) - fluency is expected
We're proud of what we've built here - and we work hard to make sure the people who help us build it share in it.
