- Patrol the campus to monitor parking conditions and identify parking violations and safety concerns that interfere with the proper operation of the parking and transportation system. Issue parking citations to vehicles that are parked in violation of university parking and traffic regulations. Implement vehicle immobilization and/or towing procedures to ensure efficient parking and safe parking lot/structure operations.
- Support public relations by educating members of the campus community (e.g., faculty, staff, and students) and visitors concerning parking regulations and other parking and transportation-related issues and services.
- Responsible for providing assistance and directions to faculty, staff, students, and visitors to support customer service goals.
- Assist the University Police Department by monitoring parking lots/structures and identifying possible situations of suspicious activity. Report safety/security concerns as they arise.
- Assist with traffic direction and control on campus parking lots/structures when needed.
- Responsible for monitoring parking and transportation vehicles, equipment, systems, and signage to ensure problems are identified and reported.
- Represent the University in customer service and parking control/operations capacity by monitoring and assisting faculty, staff, students, and visitors with parking concerns during special events as required.
- Other special assignments as assigned.
- High school diploma/equivalent.
- Valid Florida or Georgia driver's license or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, to include moving traffic cones/barricades.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Skill in safely operating various types of motorized vehicles.
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking based upon in-depth data, substantiating information, and considering, respecting others' input, personal values, and ethics.

Anticipated Salary RangeHourly rate of $15 per hour.

Based on the duties, this position may require completion of a criminal history background check.
Part-time; 25 - 30 hours per week.
