Office Support Worker / Customer Service Specialist

Location: Tallahassee, FL
Work Arrangement: Onsite In Person Only
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Pay rate -$15/hr on 1099

We are seeking Customer Service Specialists to assist Florida high school and college students with questions related to scholarships and grants.

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
.

• Answer incoming calls from students regarding scholarships and grants.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Assist customers with questions and general information.
• Remain calm and professional when dealing with stressed or upset customers.
• Accurately document and manage customer information.
• Use computer systems to access and update information.
• Follow established procedures and guidelines.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional work environment.
• At least 6 months of customer support experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm when handling difficult or upset customers.
• Comfortable using computers.
• Strong employment/job tenure.
• Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting and criminal records checks.
