Registered Dental Assistant

We are looking for a full-time (32 to 36 hours/week) dental assistant to join our caring team. We are a family practice focused on providing the best treatments possible for our patients. Our ideal candidate will be motivated, positive, outgoing, and possess excellent clinical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms for patients
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
• Proficiency in computer software projects
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask

1 year of prior dental assisting experience preferred
