Description
Stride Dental Group — Family Care Dental, Debary FL
Patient Care Coordinator
Full-time - Mon–Thu 8:30–5:00, Fri 8:30–1:00
Stride Dental Group is a growing multi-site dental service organization delivering exceptional patient experiences across Central Florida. Our Family Care Dental team in DeBary is high-performing, patient-focused, and held to a clear standard of accountability.
We are looking for an experienced dental front office professional who can step in and contribute from day one. This is not an entry-level role. If you need to be trained on insurance, scheduling, or treatment plan presentation, this is not the right fit.
What you will own- Greet and check in patients; set the tone for the visit from the first interaction
- Answer incoming calls, manage scheduling, and maintain a healthy recall system
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments — accuracy and speed required
- Present treatment plans and financial options clearly, including membership plan enrollment
- Collect co-pays and balances; process payments accurately and efficiently
- Manage new patient intake, chart preparation, and paperwork
- Coordinate with clinical staff to keep the schedule on time
- Follow up on unscheduled treatment and reactivate lapsed patients
- Complete daily opening and closing checklists without exception
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk in full compliance with HIPAA standards
- Minimum 2 years of dental front office experience — non-negotiable. Candidates without verifiable dental experience will not be considered.
- Hands-on dental insurance experience required — you must be able to verify PPO and HMO benefits, read EOBs, and explain coverage to patients confidently.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills — you represent the practice in every interaction
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities without dropping the ball
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
- Performance-based bonus eligibility
- Paid time off
- In-house dental benefits
- Growth opportunities within a scaling DSO
