Dental Hygienist – Dental Care at Belmont

Dental Care at Belmont is seeking a friendly, collaborative Dental Hygienist to join an 8‑person team in a state‑of‑the‑art facility with 13 operatories. The role is supported by a practice manager, a highly trained on‑site team, and a national network of experts through Heartland Dental.

• Current dental hygienist license in Florida
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Local Anesthesia Certification required
• Excellent knowledge of dentistry, hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification preferred

• 2‑3 years of prior hygiene experience preferred
• Experience using Dentrix, Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills for preventive care and overall patient health
• Experience with clinical duties as required by the office

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year
• Completion of a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions; not applicable in the state of FL & TN
