Tuesday 8:30 am‑6:00 pm
Wednesday 8:00 am‑5:00 pm
Thursday 6:30 am‑4:00 pm
Friday 7:30 am‑12:00 pm

• Greet and welcome patients to create a great first impression.
• Manage front office duties including answering phones, checking office mail and email, and communicating with patients and insurance companies.
• Use Dentrix for patient scheduling and record management.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• File patient insurance claims, follow up on outstanding claims, verify benefits, and explain coverage.
• Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivable.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize office potential.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Access to minimum PHI necessary for job functions; HIPAA training required.

• 1+ years in a dental or medical setting.
• 1+ years with insurance billing and accounts receivable.
• Experience with Dentrix or other dental software.

• Perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Lift up to 15 pounds on occasion.
• Attend virtual or in‑person training periodically throughout the year.
• TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions (not applicable in FL & TN).
