Dental Assistant

Dental Assistant Career Opportunity – Odessa, FL

Full‑time position with a work schedule of Monday‑Friday, 6:40 am–5:00 pm, with rotating short days on some Fridays (8:00 am–12:00 pm). The role is day‑time only—no nights or weekends.

• Greet patients and maintain comfort throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to support quality care.
• Capture and process x‑rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3‑D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance, including four‑handed dentistry, during various procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room in compliance with safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Manage supply inventory and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers and team to implement systems and maximize workflow.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• State issued Dental Assistant permit and X‑Ray credentials.
• At least 1 year of dental assistant experience.
• Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Team‑player attitude and dependable, positive mindset.

• Ability to perform essential duties, including prolonged standing or sitting.
• Capacity to lift up to 45 pounds as required.
• Availability for occasional virtual or in‑person training.
• Required TB test before starting employment (not applicable in FL & TN).
