Traveling Periodontics Dental Assistant

This is a traveling position that requires regular travel between the following locations:

• Land O' Lakes: 2091 Collier Parkway, Land O' Lakes, FL 34639
• Pinellas Park: 5002 73rd Avenue N, Pinellas Park, FL 33781
• Bloomingdale: 10845 Bloomingdale Ave., Riverview, FL 33578
• New Tampa: 1748 Bruce

Mileage reimbursement is provided.

• Monday:
  Land O' Lakes – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Tuesday:
  Pinellas Park – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Wednesday:
  Bloomingdale – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Thursday:
  Alternating between New Tampa and Pinellas Park – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Friday:
  New Tampa – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean and organized environment
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
• Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow
• Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist
• Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately

• Previous dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus

• Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Florida:
  Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
• Georgia: CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.
• Michigan:
  Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification. If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8-week period to submit it.
• New Jersey:
  Proof of X-ray training.
• New York:
  Not applicable.
• Ohio:
  Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays)
• Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
