Smile Works Children’s Dentistry & Orthodontics is looking for an energetic, dependable, and people-loving Orthodontic Assistant to join our team in Tallahassee!
We’re a busy, modern pediatric and orthodontic practice that believes going to the dentist should actually be a great experience — for our patients and our team.
What You’ll Do- Assist with braces, aligners, scans, records, and orthodontic procedures
- Take digital X-rays, photos, and impressions/scans
- Educate patients on appliances, elastics, hygiene, and home care
- Keep treatment flowing smoothly and efficiently
- Help create a fun, positive experience for kids, teens, and adults
- Work closely with our orthodontist and an awesome clinical team
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Love working with people and making patients feel comfortable
- Are organized, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoy technology and learning new things
- Are a true team player
- Have orthodontic or dental assisting experience — a big plus!
