Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Interior Designer, located in Sarasota, FL. The Lead Interior Designer will manage design projects from concept to completion, including space planning, selecting and specifying finishes, furnishings, and equipment (FF&E), and creating detailed construction drawings. Responsibilities also include collaborating with clients and stakeholders, managing project timelines and budgets, coordinating with architects and contractors, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs that align with Studio G Home's vision and standards.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Space Planning and Interior Design, with the ability to create functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts
  • Strong knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to effectively collaborate with architects, contractors, and builders
  • Experience in selecting and specifying furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) to meet project goals
  • Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar programs
  • Strong communication and client management skills to ensure a positive client experience and deliver exceptional results
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., NCIDQ) or licensing is a plus
  • Minimum 2 years construction experience and 3-6 Years previous experience managing interior design projects preferred
  • Salary commensurates with level of experience
