Our Cities & Places team is seeking a Project Architect to help deliver innovative, sustainable, and human‑centered design solutions that shape communities and improve the way people live, work, and connect. As we continue to expand our architectural practice in the Gulf Coast/ SW Florida market
, we’re looking for a design‑focused, technically minded architect ready to grow and make an impact.

As a Project Architect
, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the planning, design, and documentation of small to medium sized projects across civic, transportation, higher education, and commercial markets. You’ll contribute to the development of architectural concepts, coordinate with engineering partners, and help advance projects through all phases—from early visioning through construction administration. What

You’ll Do
  • Take ownership of the project to reliably deliver scope on schedule and in budget while meeting design intent and project requirements.
  • Lead architectural design and documentation efforts across all project phases, from conceptual design to construction administration using Revit and other design software.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to small to medium sized architecture teams.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including engineering, planning, and interiors to ensure coordinated, integrated design solutions.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design workshops as needed.
  • Assist in developing design narratives, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Help maintain quality standards and support the execution of project goals, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement within the architectural team.
Here’s what you'll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Registered Architect
  • 7+ years of post‑graduate professional architectural experience
  • Proficiency in Revit for architectural modeling and documentation.
  • Knowledge of building systems, codes, and architectural best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer‑supplier appropriateness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
  • Experience in one or more Cities & Places market sectors (civic, health, transportation, higher education, commercial).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up, Enscape, Rhino, or other visualization tools.
  • Interest or experience in sustainable design and LEED, WELL, or similar rating systems.
  • Participation in a professional organization.
  • NCARB registration.

The base salary range for this position is $ to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
