General Radiology Physician Assistant Sarasota Florida

POSITION SUMMARY

Radiology Associates of Florida, a Radiology Partners practice, is seeking a full-time General Radiology Physician Assistant to join their group in Sarasota, FL and Venice, FL. The ideal candidate will perform and assist with Upper GI fluoroscopy studies, including esophagrams and complete Upper GI series. The candidate will collaborate with radiologists in conducting and interpreting fluoroscopic exams and partner with Speech Pathology during modified barium swallow studies (MBSS) to evaluate swallowing function and assist with patient care planning.

This position works with the General Radiology section of the local RP practice at Sarasota Memorial Hospital (SMH) and SMH Venice Hospital.

Located in North Venice, Florida, SMH Venice Hospital is a modern, full-service acute care facility serving South Sarasota County. Opened in 2021, the 65-acre campus includes a 212-bed hospital, 61-bed emergency care center, 8 operating suites, and a medical office building supporting multiple specialties. The hospital features state-of-the-art imaging and diagnostic technology, including MRI, CT, X-ray, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine. As part of the Sarasota Memorial Health Care System, SMH Venice upholds the same standards of excellence and patient-centered care as the Sarasota campus, consistently maintaining a 5-star CMS quality rating.

This is a full-time position offering a comprehensive benefits package, including generous paid time off (PTO), medical insurance, continuing medical education (CME), a 401(k) plan, and additional benefits. The schedule consists of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
