Infertility Physician – Independent Practice Track (MedCBO Supported)
The position offers physicians the opportunity to own and operate an infertility practice while receiving comprehensive administrative and operational support from MedCBO.
OverviewPhysicians will establish or transition to an independently operated medical practice supported by MedCBO’s infrastructure. The physician retains full clinical authority and ownership, while MedCBO handles non‑clinical business functions.
Physician Responsibilities- Provide infertility care within the physician’s scope of practice.
- Develop professional relationships within the medical community.
- Coordinate with MedCBO for payer credentialing and enrollment.
- Determine the clinical services offered and manage clinical quality and patient experience.
- Practice formation coordination and legal setup assistance.
- Billing and collections management, payer contract negotiation.
- Financial infrastructure, reporting and practice financial management.
- Operational workflows, staffing systems, HR administration.
- Technology platform implementation, EHR support, telehealth services.
- Credentialing, enrollment, and facility privileging coordination.
- Supply‑chain and vendor coordination.
- MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice.
- Board certified or board eligible in a relevant infertility or reproductive specialty.
- Eligibility for hospital or facility privileges where applicable.
- Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates.
- No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice.
- Interest in the independent practice model.
- Desire for practice ownership.
- Community‑based care interest.
- Leadership or program development experience.
Multiple U.S. markets are available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure requirements.
CompensationCompensation is derived from the physician‑owned practice revenue; it is not a salary. Financial outcomes depend on specialty scope, services offered, payer mix, physician activity, and local market conditions. Results are not guaranteed.
