Position OverviewFlorida Physician Group, a member of HSA Hospitals (Hospital Systems of America), is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist to join our expanding cardiovascular program at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Florida.

- Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular care.
- Perform a full range of interventional cardiology procedures.
- Participate in STEMI call coverage (1:4 rotation).
- Collaborate closely with cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiothoracic surgery teams.
- Participate in education, training, and cardiovascular program development.
- Contribute to patient safety, quality improvement, and clinical outcomes initiatives.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans; participate in case reviews, care planning meetings, and other collaborative decision-making.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of medical records in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality improvement, peer review, and continuing medical education (CME) activities.
- Support or engage in clinical research, protocol development, and teaching initiatives, if applicable.
- Comply with hospital bylaws, departmental policies, and professional practice regulations.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine.
- Additional fellowship training and board certification/eligibility in Interventional Cardiology required.
- Active and valid medical license in the State of Florida.
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association, and BLS – ARC American Red Cross, each certification within 120 days of hire.
- Florida DEA registration upon hire.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team‑based environment.

- Experience in a high‑volume interventional practice preferred.
