Full-Time | Sarasota, Florida | Monday–Friday | No Hospital Call Join a Growing, Patient-Focused Interventional Pain Practice
Interventional Pain Management Physician
Schedule- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- Outpatient practice
- Shared after-hours telephone call approximately once every 4–6 weeks
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Perform a wide range of interventional pain procedures, including:
- Epidural steroid injections
- Facet injections
- Medial branch blocks
- Radio frequency ablation
- Peripheral nerve blocks
- Evaluate and manage candidates for advanced pain therapies, including:
- Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS)
- Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) stimulation
- Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS)
- Intrathecal Drug Delivery Systems (Pain Pumps)
- Collaborate closely with primary care providers, specialists, therapists, and care coordinators to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, expectations, and long‑term pain management strategies.
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation within the electronic medical record.
- Stay current with advancements in interventional pain medicine and participate in continuing medical education.
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school (or foreign equivalent).
- Completion of an accredited Pain Medicine fellowship.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine through:
- Anesthesiology
- Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
- Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical licensure.
- Experience performing interventional pain procedures; neuromodulation and implant experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient‑centered care.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
