- Collaborate with staff to provide an enriching experience for K-12 youth across assigned program.
- Facilitate small-group or class-based workshops or activities.
- Assist students in meeting their academic and other developmental goals.
- Foster a healthy, safe environment for youth on campus.
- Serve as a positive role model for youth across various programs
- Supervise and monitor students during daily activities, evening programming, and overnight hours in on-campus housing.
- Assist with check-in/check-out procedures and transitions between activities.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies, incidents, or student concerns, following established safety and reporting protocols.
- Minimum of high school diploma.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to build rapport with youth.

Anticipated Salary Range
$14 per hour.

Considerations
This is an OPS/temporary job.
Based on the duties, this position may require completion of a criminal history background check.
Counselors will receive staff training from June 1st to June 5th. Programming with students will begin when they move in on June 7th, with the final day of Summer Academy on July 10th. Students arrive each week for Summer Academy on Sunday evenings and leave to go home for the weekend on Friday afternoons. The Summer College Enrichment Tour (typically 3-5 days) will take place during the week of July 19th.
