ESE Teacher – Advanced Math Support (North Port Area)

$45/hour | Full-Time | 2025–26 School Year

Our Amergis Educational Staffing Team is seeking an ESE Teacher with strong math instructional experience, particularly in Algebra or higher-level math, for the North Port area for the upcoming 2025–26 School Year. This educator will work with exceptional student populations who require targeted academic support, including advanced math concepts.

The ESE Teacher supports students with exceptional needs by providing specialized instruction, accommodations, and math-focused academic interventions. This role is ideal for a teacher confident in delivering advanced math content while addressing diverse learning needs in a collaborative school environment.

  Monday–Friday
• Hours per Week: 37.5 (Full-Time Only)
• School Year: 2025–26

Gabriela Dodson

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
• Valid Florida teaching certificate or Statement of Eligibility (SOE) for ESE
• Experience teaching advanced math (Algebra, Pre-Algebra, or higher-level math concepts)
• Minimum of one year classroom experience (preferred)
• Strong behavior management and instructional differentiation skills
• Computer proficiency required
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• TB, CPR, and health documents if applicable
• Understanding of student confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
