Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support students across multiple schools within the Sarasota County Area (North Port area). This is a full-time, 37.5-hour-per-week school-based role, with flexibility available for candidates seeking part-time hours.
This position begins immediately and continues through the end of the current school year, with the opportunity to extend into the next school year based on performance.

Pay: $48/hr (weekly pay)
Setting:
School-based; must be willing to travel between school sitesContract:
Immediate start through end of school year, with extension opportunity
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred
Valid state teaching certificate as required by state regulations
One year experience as a teacher for the visually impaired preferred
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
