This is a full-time, on-site position for a Science Teacher located in Sarasota, FL. The Science Teacher will engage and inspire middle school students by preparing and delivering science lessons aligned with curriculum standards. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, teaching science concepts (including physics and mathematics integration), assessing student progress, managing classroom activities, and fostering an inclusive learning environment that supports all students in achieving their academic goals.
Qualifications- A strong foundation in Science Education, Physics, and Mathematics
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and delivering engaging instructional materials
- Certified or Qualified Teacher status, with a passion for education
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment for diverse student needs
- Experience teaching middle school students is a plus
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in education, science, or a related field is required; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous
