Responsibilities
The annual assignment of responsibilities for this position will include:
- Coordination of all National Institute for Infant & Child Medical Music Therapy activities including but not limited to Little Ones Music Play, NICU-MT classes, clinical fieldwork, and certification.
- Teaching at least one for-credit NICU-MT course in the College of Music per year (typically in the Spring term).
- Providing clinical services in conjunction with supervision of undergraduate and graduate students.
- Assistance with research and coordination of other area projects/job activities as needed, collaborating with other FSU faculty.

QualificationsThe successful candidate will:
- Have earned a graduate degree in Music Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Hold the Music Therapy Board Certification (MT-BC) credential from CBMT.
- Have completed the NICU MT Certificate.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, professionalism, and the desire to collaborate with faculty, staff, students, clients, patients, and other community partners.
- Have a minimum of three years' clinical experience in the NICU and/or a related setting. At least five years of clinical experience is preferred.
