** Entrepreneurial Programs Specialist position at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties (BGCSDC).
The Entrepreneurial Programs Specialist is responsible for facilitating interactive entrepreneurial curriculum designed to prepare youth for business ownership, innovation, and social enterprise leadership. The ideal candidate should have a passion for youth development, strong organizational skills, and the ability to create meaningful partnerships within the business community.
** Essential Duties:
*** Lead and facilitate the Perlman Price Young Entrepreneurs (PYE) Program, PYE2 Continuing Education Workshops, and Impact Innovators by delivering structured curriculum, providing mentorship, guiding hands-on ventures, and teaching real-world business and investing skills.
* Plan and execute entrepreneurial pitch competitions and business showcases that reward innovative student-led ventures and strengthen leadership, presentation, and financial literacy skills.
* Coordinate with community leaders, industry experts, and local entrepreneurs to provide mentorship, networking opportunities, and real-world business experiences for Club members.
* Enhance, update, and improve entrepreneurial and financial education curricula based on innovative instructional strategies, current business and investment trends, and program evaluation data.
* Develop recruitment strategies for the promotion of PYE, PYE2, and Impact Innovators by identifying diverse target audiences and implementing effective outreach methods.
* Provide individualized coaching and technical assistance to teens in business planning, financial projections, investment decision-making, marketing, budgeting, and operations.
* Collect and analyze program data to assess effectiveness, monitor impact, and strengthen outcomes for entrepreneurial and financial education programs.## Qualifications

*** Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
** Position Requirements:
*** Bachelor’s Degree required.
* Must be 21 years of age or older.
* 3+ years of experience in teen development, leadership or a related field.
* Pass pre-employment background screening and drug test.
* Valid FL Driver’s License and be insured under the BGCSDC’s policy.
* Traveling is required.
* Occasional nights and weekends are required.
