Department: Florida State University Schools
Responsibilities- Substitutes for teachers grades K-12.
- Works with teachers in the classroom to help students.
- Supervises the classroom in teacher's absence.
- Completes paperwork under the teacher's direction.
- May include other student supervisory duties as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to provide three professional references.
- Bachelor's degree with experience working in a school setting.
- Florida Teaching Certificate.
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, including a fingerprint‑based screening via AHCA’s Clearinghouse pursuant to Section 1012, Florida Statutes, for positions in a FSU Developmental Research School or Section 409.175, Florida Statutes, for positions in a Childcare or Summer Camp position. Anticipated Salary Range$15.25 per hour.
