Location: Miami Shores

Summary

The Enrollment Coordinator position is responsible for assisting the Senior Director in recruiting students to the College of Health Professions & Medical Sciences. The role focuses on all active recruiting efforts to convert inquiries into enrolled students, providing operational support, working with internal and external customers to build and strengthen program awareness. This is a full‑time in‑person position.

Essential Functions

Work toward and achieve the college/school/program’s enrollment goals by participating in recruitment activities such as:

  • Providing information to prospective students regarding programs, admission requirements, and required documents.
  • Preparing presentations for prospective and accepted student audiences, both small and large.
  • Coordinating and participating in on‑campus events for prospects, accepted students, and special interest groups.
  • Traveling to represent the University at college fairs, conferences, and off‑campus events.
  • Conducting mail, phone, and email recruiting campaigns to generate inquiries and applications and tracking communications using a CRM system.
  • Responding to inquiries by phone, email, or mail and tracking using the CRM platform.
  • Conducting information sessions and attending college fairs and other events.
  • Counseling prospective students to encourage campus visits and application submission.
  • Managing campus visits and scheduling of prospective students, including meetings with faculty.
  • Representing the Barry University brand and serving as a content expert for prospective students.
  • Executing additional tactics that support strategies established by the deans and the Senior Director to attract, recruit, and enroll qualified students.
  • Assisting in assessing results of prior recruitment travel and developing subsequent recruitment plans using the CRM platform.
  • Facilitating timely and appropriate information delivery to move students from inquiry to application to acceptance.
  • Determining prospective students’ preferred communication methods and incorporating all media types.
  • Creating and conducting follow‑up via phone, email, live chat, web, and other methods and entering all data using the CRM system.
  • Explaining admissions requirements for specific programs and guiding prospective students throughout the application process.
  • Promoting prospect/applicant engagement with peers, faculty, and staff.
  • Assisting with the onboarding and registration process.
  • Developing expertise in describing the university’s financial aid opportunities and policies.
  • Documenting all contact with applicants in Salesforce.
  • Reporting daily, weekly, and monthly activities utilizing CRM and SIS systems.
  • Assessing interactions with prospective students and recommending updates to improve customer experience.
  • Maintaining effective communications with the departments of Financial Aid, Records, and academic programs.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and conduct in line with the University’s core values.
  • Safeguarding the confidentiality of student, staff, and university information.
  • Making recommendations for process improvements.
  • Evaluating the readiness of applicant files and sending to the Program Director for review.
  • Collecting, synthesizing, and analyzing data to provide assessments and reports.
  • Supporting the Senior Director in creating and executing the recruitment strategy.
Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required. 1–3 years of related work experience is required. The candidate must possess the following:

  • Strong communication skills to articulate the university’s brand promise and core values.
  • Ability to make difficult decisions while being sensitive to individual circumstances.

  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work long hours and weekends during peak recruitment season; acceptance of non‑traditional working hours, days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Some local travel required.
