St. Anthony Catholic School is a historic and picturesque VPK-8th Grade Diocesan School located in San Antonio, Florida, just 35 minutes north of Tampa. We are seeking to hire a part-time K-8 Music teacher for the 26-27 school year. We are seeking someone who consistently strives for what is best for students, who is creative and collaborative, who never stops learning, and who wants to be a part of a team that has high expectations of themselves and their students.

Requirements:

* Candidates for this position need to support the mission of Catholic Education

* Minimum of a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university

* Florida Teaching Certificate or eligible to obtain a Florida Teaching Certificate is preferred

* The ideal candidate has 3-5 years teaching experience in an elementary or middle school setting

Responsibilities

* Develop and implement engaging unit and lesson plans that align with standards

* Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods

* Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning environment

* Collaborate with other educators and staff to help fulfill our school mission

* Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities

* Lead and organize the school-wide Christmas program

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Level II background screening and Safe Environment Training.
