We are seeking a Head Swim Coach who can build a program, recruit exceptional talent, and establish a culture of performance and accountability from day one.

The Role
The Head Swim Coach leads all aspects of the swimming and diving program-coaching, recruiting, and external engagement. You will set the standard, define the culture, and develop student-athletes who compete at a high level in both the pool and the classroom.
Examples of Duties

• Build, sustain, and lead a competitive intercollegiate swimming & diving program
• Design and execute training that develops disciplined, high-performing athletes
• Oversee practice planning, meet preparation, and athlete development
• Establish clear expectations, track outcomes, and drive continuous improvement
• Ensure full compliance with institutional, conference, and regulatory requirements
• Recruit, attract, and yield student-athletes aligned with New College's academic and athletic standards
• Serve as a visible ambassador for the College with prospective students, families, and coaches
• Build recruiting pipelines that contribute to enrollment growth and student success
• Lead camps, clinics, and community engagement efforts that expand the program's reach
• Partner with Admissions and campus leadership to support institutional priorities
