- Teach demographic methods/techniques and other substantive courses in the Masters of Demography program in the Center for Demography and Population Health (CDPH).
- Contribute to service work and other undergraduate and graduate coursework in Sociology and Demography that meshes with the faculty member’s expertise and fits the department’s and the CDPH’s needs.
- Possibility of leadership within the CDPH will be considered in the candidate evaluation process.
- Demonstrate an active research agenda and a track record of publishing in well-respected peer‑reviewed outlets.
- Have a clear strategy for seeking funding through external grants and contracts.
- Successful completion of a criminal history background check is required.
- Completion of all Ph.D. or equivalent degree requirements except the dissertation at the time of application.
- Applicants with expected or completed doctoral degrees in Sociology, Demography, or related fields are welcome.
