Training Specialist Security Clearance

Position: TRAINING SPECIALIST with Security Clearance
Location: Hurlburt Field

Duties
* Responsible for providing oversight of the 505 TRS training focusing on operational level command and control in at least one of the following disciplines
* Develops, reviews, revises and approve training instructional materials in accordance with established learning objectives.
* Using training experience and knowledge of training, develops and approve the plan and measurement devices for measuring achievement of instructional objectives.
* Oversees the designs instruction for the 505 TRS. Uses a systems approach, applies learning theories and principles to develop or revise experimental and innovative instructional materials for command, component or international customers.
* Measures the effectiveness and efficiency of instructional programs for 505 TRS. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed
* This positions requires the employee to occasionally travel on long periods away from normal duty station to include CONUS or overseas and may include remote or isolate areas
* The employee may be required to travel on military or commercial aircraft to accomplish temporary duty
* This position may require the employee to work under adverse environmental conditions;
The employee may be subject to work other than normal duty hours
* AOC FTU, instructional systems development, curriculum development and instructional technology experience (distance and resident training) are highly desirable
* Incumbent may be required to stand for several hours at a time while instructing in a classroom environment
* This is a designated drug-testing position. Incumbent will be subject to random testing for drug use.

Qualifications In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, GS-1712 series. Section 9315 of 10 USC directs the commander of the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) to comply with standards established by the Secretary of Education to confer associate degrees upon enlisted members who have completed the requirements for the prescribed programs of study. To comply with this directive, all faculty members of the Community College of the Air Force must meet minimum educational requirements as prescribed by the accrediting body Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges (SACS-COC), i.e. all teachers must hold at least an associate's degree in order for the school to meet accreditation criteria.

EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-11, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes
1) Teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s).
2) Supervising or administering a training program.
3) Development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results.
