Doctors Charter School of Miami Shores 2026–2027 School Year
Doctors Charter School is seeking highly qualified, student-centered professionals to join our team and support student achievement through exceptional compliance, collaboration, and instructional support.
ESE Specialist Responsibilities- Facilitate IEP, eligibility, and reevaluation meetings
- Monitor ESE compliance, timelines, and documentation
- Coordinate accommodations for state and district assessments
- Support teachers with accommodations, modifications, and intervention strategies
- Collaborate with families, service providers, and school personnel to support student success
- Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and Florida ESE regulations
- Experience with IEP development, compliance monitoring, and progress monitoring preferred
- Ensure compliance with state and federal requirements for English Language Learners (ELLs)
- Coordinate ELL testing, student plans, and required documentation
- Monitor timelines and maintain accurate student records
- Support teachers with ELL accommodations and instructional best practices
- Collaborate with families, staff, and district personnel to support multilingual learners
- ESOL Endorsement or ESOL Certification preferred
- Knowledge of META Consent Decree requirements and ELL compliance procedures
- Strong organizational, communication, and data management skills
- Strong attention to detail and compliance knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and staff
- Commitment to ensuring all students receive the support they need to succeed
