Elementary Teacher Aide

We are seeking an Elementary Teacher’s Aide for the 2026–2027 school year who desires to serve in a Christ-centered environment alongside supportive leadership and a unified, encouraging team. This position may also provide opportunities for future classroom teaching roles within the school.

An Elementary Teacher’s Aide at Community Christian Academy will:

• Assist the classroom teacher in creating a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth
• Support students academically, socially, and spiritually throughout the school day
• Help establish effective rapport with students
• Encourage positive behavior and classroom participation
• Assist with classroom organization, preparation, and daily routines
• Establish good relationships with parents, staff members, and students
• Support the mission and values of Community Christian Academy through daily interactions and service

• Must have a faithful testimony of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
• Must believe that the Bible is God’s Word and standard for faith and daily living.
• Must be in support of Community Christian Academy's Statement of Faith ()
• Show by example the importance of prayer, Scripture memorization and study, witnessing, and unity in Christian fellowship.
• Follows biblical principles of restoration in dealing with students, administration, and staff.
• Encourages and directs students in Christian conduct and service.
• Ability to work well with children and maintain a positive, orderly environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills preferred.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students is preferred.

Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:

• Assist the classroom teacher with instructional activities and daily classroom operations.
• Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce instruction and provide academic support.
• Help prepare classroom materials, activities, displays, and instructional aids.
• Assist in maintaining standards of student behavior necessary for a functional learning atmosphere.
• Supervise students during classroom, recess, lunch, and other school activities as assigned.
• Assist with classroom organization, cleanliness, and preparation throughout the school day.
• Help monitor student work and assist students as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with staff, students, and parents.
• Support classroom routines including arrival, dismissal, transitions, snack/lunch times, and special activities.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and responsibilities as assigned by Administration.
