Responsible for developing, planning, organizing, and implementing an instructional program for students through curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs, while ensuring that all procedures are followed to maintain safety and security and to meet federal, state, and local regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• OR approval by or participation in a state‑approved certification pathway program
• Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate or District‑issued adjunct certification
• OR valid statement of eligibility
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required

• Aretired or eligible enlisted personnel (E‑6 through E‑9) or retired Marine Corps or Coast Guard member certified by the Navy will be considered.
• High school diploma required; must obtain an associate degree within five years of employment.

Full‑time, 216 days per year, benefit eligible. Position may require teaching an additional period beyond base contract; additional compensation will be provided and considered part of the salary for Florida Retirement System purposes.

Pasco County Schools utilizes the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse for fingerprinting and Level II background screening.
