The Academy of Lake Hills South is a public school located in Mascotte in southern Lake County which serves students in grades 6-12 who benefit from additional academic, behavioral, and therapeutic supports beyond what is provided in a general school setting. Students receive instruction in small group settings from certified teachers with the assistance of Behavior Technicians and teacher assistants.
The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience working with children or adults with cognitive or behavioral disabilities in a school or clinic setting. RBTs will work with students in and out of the classroom as well as one on one with students when needed. RBTs will work under the supervision of a Behavior Analyst to collect behavior data and implement Behavior Intervention Plans.
Starting salary for new or returning hires is commensurate with relevant education and experience.
