Overview
The OPS Research and Training Specialist supports statewide workforce development training programs within Florida Commerce's Bureau of One-Stop and Program Support. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing instructional materials using multimedia technology and adult learning principles, while coordinating training efforts with Local Workforce Development Boards and internal staff. This position maintains learning management systems, analyzes training effectiveness, and collaborates with subject matter experts to deliver innovative workforce training across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement instructional materials using multimedia technology and adult learning principles.
- Coordinate training efforts with Local Workforce Development Boards and internal staff.
- Maintain learning management systems and analyze training effectiveness.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to deliver workforce training across multiple platforms.
- Knowledge of instructional design, research, and implementation methodologies.
- Skill in Adobe Creative Cloud products (Captivate, Premiere Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to conduct research, compile and analyze data.
- Experience with adult learning theory models and training program development.
- Experience using learning management systems and video recording/editing.
- Ability to work independently and prepare professional documents and evaluation reports.
