Job Description

Do you bring out the star in your students?

Taylor Robinson Music is looking for private music instructors who share the philosophy "Learn to Play From the Heart". We strive to make music lessons accessible and affordable because music education is essential to making the world a better, happier place.

We are hiring private music instructors, especially for Guitar. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio in the Riverview, FL area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP.

Lessons can occur in the students  homes, in your own home or studio/rehearsal space, or via webcam. While webcam lessons are requested, they make up only a small percentage of our student base. Most students prefer in-person lessons, so local instructors who can host students and/or travel to students in the Riverview, FL area are needed.

Compensation is on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour, depending on travel time, experience/education, and student retention rate. You can set your own schedule and your own curriculum/lesson plans. The company handles advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing to help you focus on teaching.

If you are great with kids, enjoy teaching, communicate well with our office, and are organized and punctual for all lessons, Taylor Robinson Music may be the right place for you.

Formal music training is not mandatory, but one of the following is required: a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

If you have one of the above and are interested in learning more, please apply using the link below:

Notes on COVID-19 precautions:
Some students are comfortable with webcam lessons, but most prefer in-person. You must wear a mask, sanitize your hands, and practice social distancing when applicable.
